Where do sessions take place?
Sessions can take place outdoors, at home or in my natural-light studio, depending on the kind of session and what feels right for you and your family.
What should we wear?
Keep it simple and wear something that feels like you. I generally recommend soft, neutral tones and pieces that work together rather than perfectly match - textures, linen, knits. Once your session is booked, I'll send through more guidance to help pull everything together. Don't overthink it!
What happens after I enquire?
I will send through my full session guide with all the details, including pricing, what to expect and how to prepare. If it feels like the right fit, we'll choose a date and get you booked in.
When should I book?
For newborn sessions, I recommend getting in touch as soon as you know you're expecting. I take a limited number of newborn bookings around each due date, so booking early gives us the best chance of securing a session. A tentative booking is placed around your due date, then confirm the session once your baby arrives. Family sessions are also best booked in advanced, especially for weekends.
Do I have to choose my package before the session?
No. You don't need to decide on your image collection beforehand. After your session, you'll receive a private viewing gallery and can choose the collection that feels right for you.
What if my kids don't cooperate?
Don't worry about getting everyone to sit still or be on their best behaviour. Some of my favourite photos happen in the in-between moments. We'll let the kids be themselves and work around whatever the day brings.
